What happens on the day?
At Funeral Stream, our commitment to providing a seamless and respectful livestreaming experience begins well before the funeral service itself. Typically, our team arrives approximately 1.5 to 2 hours beforehand to ensure everything is set up and ready to go. Upon arrival, we introduce ourselves and carefully survey the venue to determine the optimal camera positions for capturing every moment.
Once the setup is complete, we meticulously perform a series of tests to ensure that the live stream is transmitting flawlessly. We test our Starlink satellite connection as well as our 5G/4G cell connections. Clear audio is paramount in preserving the solemnity of the occasion, which is why we kindly request the Priest or Celebrant to wear a clip-on radio microphone. Additionally, we strategically place shotgun microphones at the lectern to capture readings and eulogies, as well as ambient sounds like music or organ music using a second shotgun microphone.
During the service itself, our operator remains discrete, ensuring minimal disruption. There is no unnecessary movement or relocation of cameras, allowing attendees to focus entirely on honoring their loved one. Our advanced monitoring tools enable us to continuously check the quality of the live stream, ensuring that it is delivered seamlessly to viewers.
Following the service, the funeral video remains accessible online in perpetuity, providing a poignant opportunity for loved ones to revisit and cherish those cherished memories. At Funeral Stream, we understand the importance of preserving these moments, and we are dedicated to ensuring that every aspect of the livestreaming process is handled with care and professionalism.
